Hamburger and Vegetable Curry

  • 1/2 lb hamburger
  • 3 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 small can (8-oz) tomato puree
  • 1 pkg (10-oz) frozen mixed vegetables
  • 3 tsp fat
  • 8 oz water

Mix hamburger meat with 1/2 can tomato puree, chopped ginger, garlic, curry powder and salt. Heat fat and add onions. Fry until light golden. Add meat mixture and stir-fry for 8-10 minutes. Add water and the rest of the tomato puree and frozen vegetables. Stir well. Cook for 5-7 minutes. Adjust seasoning to your individual taste.
