Frickadeller (Danish Meatballs)

- 1 lb. ground round steak
- 1/2 lb. ground lean pork
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 onion, grated
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter
Mix meats in bowl with flour, salt, pepper and onion. Add eggs one at a time, then milk, mixing lightly with fork. Form into egg shapes between two teaspoons, and slide gently into simmering butter in skillet over medium heat. Saute 15 minutes, turning often. Serves 6.
