Okinawa-Style Pork
- Boston Butt (10 lbs.)
- 4 cups shoyu
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 2¼ cups brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. salt
- 3 tsp. monosodium glutamate
- ginger, garlic (3)
Combine above ingredients. Put pork into mixture and cook for 1 to 1½ hours, medium heat until mixture boils, then on low until pork is cooked.
