Steamed Fish
- ½ pound fish
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. shoyu
- 1 tbsp. black beans (dau see)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. chung choi (salted cabbage)
- 1 tsp. oil
- 1 pc. ginger crushed and cut fine
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 sprigs green onions, cut fine
Clean fish and let dry. Chop chung choi fine; mash black beans. Mix together ginger, starch, sugar, salt, chung choi, dau see, and oil and rub over fish.
Arrange fish in dish and sprinkle with onion. Steam 20– 25 minutes. Sprinkle green onions and serve.
