Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet

  • 4 pieces pork chop
  • Salt and pepper
  • Flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Bread crumbs

Cut pork about 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and let stand for 10 minutes. Roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and dredge lightly with bread crumbs. Heat enough oil in skillet to fry pork until well browned. Slice cutlet into bite-size pieces. Garnish with green vegetables and serve with sauce.

Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard mixed with a little water
