Eggplant and Meat Patties

  • 3 cups cooked nasubi (eggplant)
  • 1 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts, crushed in blender
  • 1/2 lb. ground round
  • 1 tbsp. shrimp flakes
  • 1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp. shoyu
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. katakuriko or cornstarch

Mix all ingredients together, make into patties and fry in little oil.
