Steamed Mullet
- 1½ lb. mullet
- 1 tbsp. Chinese black beans, canned
- 1 tbsp. shoyu
- 1 small pc. ginger, minced
- 2 tsp. green onions, sliced fine
Lay mullet on platter. Mash black beans, and shoyu and ginger. Spread over mullet and rub in opening. Put platter in steamer or put on rack in roasting pan into which you have added about 3 inches of water. Steam for 45 minutes. Sprinkle green onions over, before serving. Serves 4.
