Biscuits

Mrs. Ethel Borges – Keaukaha L. D. S.

  • 2 c flour
  • 5 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 T sugar
  • 5 T shortening
  • ¾ to 1 c milk
  • 1 egg, beaten

Sift and measure dry ingredients. Mix in shortening well with fork. Add liquid and roll out dough ½ inch thick on floured board. Cut into biscuits and bake in hot oven at 450° F. for about 12 minutes.
