Iced Tea

  1. Heat 1 quart freshly drawn cold water to full rolling boil; remove from heat.
  2. Add 8 – 12 bags or 3 Tbsp loose tea at once. Let steep, uncovered, 5 minutes. Remove tea bags or strain out loose tea.
  3. Add 1 quart freshly drawn cold water.
  4. Serve over ice cubes in tall glasses.
  5. Keep tea at room temperature because refrigeration may cause cloudiness. If tea does cloud, you can restore its clear color by adding a little boiling water.
