Chicken Dinner in a Dish
- 2 fryers (2-3 lbs. each)
- 2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
- 1 pkg. frozen peas
- 1 button garlic
- 2 cans (1 lb. each) tiny whole potatoes
- 1 can (1 lb.) French cut string beans
- 1/2 cube butter or margarine
Flour, salt and pepper chicken pieces. Melt butter or margarine in a skillet, add garlic. Add chicken and fry both sides golden brown. Place chicken in baking pan. Add 1/2 cup water in skillet with butter or margarine pour over chicken. Sprinkle frozen peas over chicken. Drain potatoes and arrange around chicken. Drain and add beans. Heat soup and add 1-1/2 cans water. Pour soup over casserole. Cover with foil and bake in 350° oven 35 minutes or until chicken is tender. Add 1/2 cup more water if more gravy is needed.
