Fish Chowder

  • Fish bones
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Bacon or Salt pork
  • 2 c potatoes, diced
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 c warm milk
  • Chopped parsley

Boil fish bones with onion, then strain. Fry bacon or salt pork, add potatoes, flour and butter. Add fish stock to potato mixture. Cook until potatoes are done then add milk and parsley and serve hot.
