Easytime Squares
Pan Size: 15×10½x1 jelly roll pan
Baking Time: 30 minutes
Temperature: 350°
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 can cherry pie filling or any other filling
- 3 tbsp. powdered sugar
1. Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.
2. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each egg.
3. Add flour and lemon juice.
4. Pour batter into a jelly roll pan (15×10½x1).
5. Batter will be thick so spread evenly in pan.
6. Mark dough off with a knife into squares.
7. Put heaping spoonful of filling into each square.
8. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes
9. When cool, cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
NOTE: The number of pieces you will get will depend on how large you make the squares.
