Eggs A La Goldenrod

Mrs. Fusae Nakakura – Haina

  • 4 hard cooked eggs
  • 2 T flour
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 T butter
  • 1 1/2 c milk
  • 6 pieces toast

Make a white sauce of the butter, flour, milk and seasonings. Slice toast like petals and arrange like flower. Chop egg white and add to white sauce. Put egg yolks thru a strainer and place in center of the toast. Serve hot.
