Broiled Liver

Mrs. Fumiko Segawa – Ilima

  • 1 lb. liver
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1/4 c shoyu
  • 1 clove garlic (grated)
  • Small piece of ginger (grated)
  • 1 T salt
  • 2 c water

Soak thinly sliced liver in salt and water solution for 5 minutes, drain. Combine all other ingredients. Soak the liver in the shoyu mixture for several hours. Broil few minutes on both sides.
