Spiced Nuts
Time: 30 minutes Temperature: 300 degrees
- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
- 3 cups nut meats (macadamia, walnuts, almonds)
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- Place slightly beaten egg white and nuts in a large bowl.
- Stir until all nuts are well coated.
- Add the mixture of sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until nut meats are well coated.
- Shake lightly in a sieve to remove sugar mixture.
- Spread on a baking sheet and bake until crisp and dried.
