Fudge

  1. Mix the following ingredients in a pot:
    • 3 pkg. chocolate chips
    • 8 oz. jar marshmallow cream
    • ½ lb. butter or oleo
    • 3 cups chopped nuts
    • 2 tsp. vanilla
  2. Bring to a boil in large pot:
    • 4½ cups sugar
    • 1 large can evaporated milk

    Watch this mixture very closely as it will burn easily. Cook at a full rolling boil for 14 minutes stirring constantly.

  3. Pour over first mixture, blend well and pour in 9 x 13 buttered pan lined with waxed paper. Chill overnight and cut into squares.
