Ta-Gu (Dried Codfish)
- 1 heaping tsp. sesame
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp. ajinomoto
- 2 tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 pkg. codfish
- 1/2 cup shoyu
- 3 heaping tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. chili pepper, ground
Soak the codfish in water for 1 hour. Drain the codfish and wipe it thoroughly. Shred into pieces. Make sauce of the other ingredients and add the shredded codfish. Makes 1 quart.
