Korean Bar-B-Q Beef

  • 1 pound Beef (sirloin, top round)
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame or Salad oil
  • 6 tablespoons Shoyu
  • Black Pepper
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 2 Green Onions, chopped fine
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons Prepared Sesame Seeds (see Taegu recipe in this cookbook)

Cut the beef into thin pieces and score. In a bowl, combine sugar, oil, soy sauce, pepper, garlic, onions and sesame seeds to make a sauce. Marinate meat in sauce for 15 to 30 minutes. Broil or pan fry in small amount of oil.
