Roast Pork

  • 1½ lbs. lean pork
  • 3 pieces ginger (crushed)
  • 5 pieces green onions (cut 2” length)
  • ½ cup onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp. red coloring
  • 2 tsp. chinese flavoring spices or ½ tsp. allspice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¾ tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup soyu (good grade)
  • ¼ cup wine
  • ¼ cup sugar

Smear pork with the above seasoning. Allow to stand for an hour. Then bake in moderate oven for about 30 minutes or until nice and brown.
