Delano Egg Nog

(24 to 30 servings)

  • 12 eggs, separated
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 qt. whipping cream, beaten
  • 1 qt. cold milk
  • 1 (4/5th) bottle California Brandy (chilled)
  • Grated Nutmeg

Beat egg yolks with 1 cup of sugar until very light yellow and stiff. Beat egg white with remaining sugar until stiff. Combine with beaten egg yolks. Fold in beaten cream; add milk slowly. Add brandy very slowly, stirring constantly. Pour into chilled serving bowl; serve in mugs. Sprinkle with grated nutmeg.
