Won Bok Casserole

  • 1-1/2 lbs won bok
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp salad oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp minced ginger root
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Cut won bok into 1/2-inch slices. Brown ground beef in oil; drain off excess fat. Stir in won bok and remaining ingredients; simmer 25 minutes, covered.

Yield: 6 servings
