Vinegar Oil Dressing

  • 11/3 cup salad oil
  • 2/3 cup white vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. white sugar, more if desired
  • 2½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed or pressed)
  • ¼ tsp. instant minced onion (optional)

Place all ingredients in a jar and shake well, refrigerate. Makes 1 pint.
