Stuffed Whole Mushrooms

  • 26 large whole mushrooms
  • 1/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tbsp. minced onions
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tomato paste (enough to hold mixture together)
  • Cheddar cheese

Remove stems from mushrooms, clean and saute buttons in margarine. Place these aside. Combine the next four ingredients and brown in a skillet. Add tomato paste to hold this mixture together. Fill each mushroom with meat mixture. Top with shredded cheddar cheese. Broil until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
