Shrimp Roll

CLASS OF 1974

Filling:

  • 1/2 lb fresh frozen shrimp, cleaned and minced
  • 4 large dried mushrooms, soaked and minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp msg
  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 cups salad oil for frying

Combine filling ingredients and mix well. Separate crescent rolls. Spread thin layer of filling mixture over entire surface of roll, then roll away from you, like you would for jelly roll. Fry rolls in oil heated to 350 degrees for 2-5 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.

Yield: 20 rolls
