Salt Cabbage

Ethel Saka, H.M. Auxiliary

  • 4½ c. chopped head cabbage (bite-size)

Cook until dissolved:

  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Hawaiian salt
  • ¼ c. white vinegar
  • 1 c. water

Pour over cabbage and mix. Ready in about 2 hours.
