Rumaki

Halve 10 water chestnuts

Quarter 5 chicken livers

Cut 10 slices bacon in half

Take one piece of water chestnut one piece of chicken liver and wrap in ½ slice of slice of bacon. Secure with toothpick.

Marinate rumakis in:

  • 1 tbls. white wine
  • ¼ cup shoyu
  • 2 tbls. brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. grated ginger root

Refrigerate rumakis in marinade for 2 hrs. Broil over charcoals or under broiler. Baste and turn until bacon is crisp.
