Roquefort Cheese Dressing

  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2/3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper
  • 2/3 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. Carnation cream
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 5 1/3 oz. Roquefort cheese (ground medium)
  1. Add garlic powder to vinegar.
  2. Chill all ingredients and the mixing bowl thoroughly before beginning to mix dressing.
  3. Place mayonnaise in chilled mixing bowl.
  4. Mix slowly, using electric beater; add oil very slowly through “drip can”.
  5. Add dry ingredients and mix.
  6. Continue mixing and add cream slowly through drip can.
  7. Add vinegar and lemon juice slowly, “drip can”.
  8. Add the cheese and mix until thoroughly blended.
