Refrigerator Cookies III

• 1 cup shortening (part margarine)
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• ½ tsp. vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• ½ tsp. soda

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and soda together; blend in. Mix thoroughly with hands.

Methods: Roll in three 1½” x 7” and refrigerate, or chill in bowl and roll out and cut as desired.

Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
