Pickled Cabbage
Mrs. Iwalani Kamoku – Hualani
- 5 lbs mustard cabbage
- 3 T vinegar
- 3 T sugar
- 3 T salt
- 7 slices ginger
Clean, wash and discard old leaves and remove some leaves from the stalks. Cut into 1½” pieces. Pour a kettle of boiling water over cabbage. Mix well. Pour water out and add all other ingredients. Place in mixing bowl and cover.
