Party Mix

• 1 box (12 oz.) rice chex
• 1 box (12 oz.) corn chex
• 1 box (10 oz.) cheerios
• 1 box (10 oz.) pretzels (shake salt off)
• 1 can (1 lb.) cocktail peanuts
• 1 jar (16½ oz.) unsalted peanuts

Sauce:

• 1 lb. (4 blocks) butter, melted
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tsp. garlic salt
• 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce

Combine cereals, pretzels, and nuts in 2 large roasting pans. Combine ingredients for sauce. Let stand a few minutes to dissolve sugar and blend flavors. Pour over cereal mixture and mix lightly. Bake uncovered at 250° for 1 hour, tossing every 15 minutes. Cool. Yield: 3½ gal.
