One Pot Spaghetti

  • 1 (1-lb.) pkg. spaghetti
  • 1 T. salad oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 sm. green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 (8-oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (10¾-oz.) cans tomato soup
  • 1 (4-oz.) can whole mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (4-oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. In a large saucepot, heat oil. Brown beef, onion and garlic until onion is translucent. Add green pepper; stir fry for 1 minute. Stir in the spaghetti. Add tomato sauce and tomato soup, one can at a time, stirring well after each addition. Mix in mushrooms and cheese. Simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
