One Pot Spaghetti

- 1 (1-lb.) pkg. spaghetti
- 1 T. salad oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 sm. green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 (8-oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (10¾-oz.) cans tomato soup
- 1 (4-oz.) can whole mushrooms, drained
- 1 (4-oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. In a large saucepot, heat oil. Brown beef, onion and garlic until onion is translucent. Add green pepper; stir fry for 1 minute. Stir in the spaghetti. Add tomato sauce and tomato soup, one can at a time, stirring well after each addition. Mix in mushrooms and cheese. Simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
