Mushrooms Stuffed with Crabmeat

  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 large Shallots or 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 pound Large Mushrooms, stems removed and chopped
  • 1/4 pound Crabmeat, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs
  • 2-3 tablespoons dry Sherry or Brandy
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

Melt butter in pan; sauté garlic and shallots (onions). Add chopped mushroom stems. In a large bowl, combine crabmeat, breadcrumbs, sherry, and Parmesan cheese. Stuff mushroom caps with the mixture. Bake in a preheated 400° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
