Molasses Nut Cake

CLASS OF 1978

  • 1 pkg applesauce cake mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients and beat as directed on package. Pour into greased and floured 13×9-inch pan; bake in 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. Cool.

Frosting: Prepare 1 pkg vanilla frosting mix as directed on package, adding 2 Tbsp molasses; spread on cake.
