Masago Ae

  • 1 pound frozen shrimps
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 2 turnips
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 package wakame
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon shoyu
  • Gourmet powder
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Boil shrimps. Shell and cut each shrimp into 3 or 4 pieces.

Cut cucumbers, turnips, and carrot into small cubes. Soak in salt water for about 1/2 hour. Drain.

Soak wakame in water for a while and cut into strips about 1″ wide. Add to the vegetables.

In 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup water, soak shrimps and vegetables for 1/2 hour. To 3/4 cup vinegar, add 1/4 cup water, sugar, salt, shoyu, gourmet powder, and lemon juice. Pour this mixture over shrimp and vegetables. Serve.
