Macadamia Nuggets

- 2 – 11 oz. pkgs. of pie crust mix
- 3 c. sharp cheese such as cheddar shredded
- Whole macadamia nuts or stuffed olives, small peppers, cocktail onions
Prepare pie mix as directed on the package. Add the cheese and mix. Take about a tablespoon of the dough and pat around nut, olive, etc. (The drier the olives or onions the better.) If you are going to use immediately, pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Place nuggets on ungreased cookie sheet and bake about 20 to 25 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen. If you wish to make these ahead, freeze on cookie sheets, then pour into plastic bag to store. When baking, add 10 minutes time.
