Lemon Clover Rolls
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¾ tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup shortening
- ½ cup milk, soured with 3 tbsp. lemon juice
Sift dry ingredients and work in shortening and add sour milk. Knead slightly. Form dough into small, walnut sized balls. Place 3 balls in each cup of greased muffin tins. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in hot oven 450 degrees for 20 minutes.
