Kinpira Gobo #3
- ½ lb. gobo, scraped
- 1 doz. dried shrimp
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. shoyu
- ½ tsp. monosodium glutamate
Shave gobo into long, narrow pieces and soak in plain water about one-half hour. Saute shrimp and gobo in oil for 5 to 10 minutes. Add chili pepper, sugar, shoyu and monosodium glutamate.
