Hamburger Rice Skillet

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1½ cups water
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 can (1-lb) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cup cooked peas
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

In medium skillet, brown meat stirring frequently. Stir in onion soup mix, water, rice, tomatoes and peas. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender; top with cheese.

Yield: 4-6 servings
