Grape Nuts Dessert

Gail Portwood

  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. Grape Nuts
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 c. nut meats
  • 1 pkg. lemon Jell-O, dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water

Boil the Grape Nuts, water, sugar and dates for 10 minutes. Mix with Jell-O and pour in pan to set. Cut in squares and serve with whipped cream.
