Furikake Crispix Mix

  • 24 oz. Crispix cereal
  • 8 oz. arare
  • 16 oz. unsalted peanuts
  • 1 bottle Aji Nori Furikake
  • 1 block butter
  • 1/2 C. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 C. light Karo syrup
  • 2 T. shoyu
  • 3/4 C. sugar

Preheat the oven to 250°. Pour cereal, arare, peanuts and furikake into large roasting pan. In a pot, heat and stir the butter, oil, Karo, shoyu and sugar until butter is completely melted. Pour sauce over cereal mixture and mix well. Bake one hour, mixing mixture every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool for one hour.
