Aburage Pupu

Reid Siarot

  • 8 pieces aburage (thin sliced, deep fried tofu)
  • 2 T. shoyu
  • 1 1/2 T. vinegar
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 2 T. sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 dash Ajinomoto (optional)
  • 1 chili pepper (optional)
  • 2 stalks green onion, chopped

Cut aburage into strips. Mix all other ingredients and sprinkle over aburage. Refrigerate overnight to enhance the flavor in the aburage.
