Fresh Marinated Mushrooms

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms

Combine ingredients, except mushrooms, and bring to boil on medium heat. Add mushrooms and continue to boil for 10 minutes. Discard garlic and bay leaf. Cool before placing in refrigerator to chill.
