“F Troop” Spam Won Ton Appetizer

• 1 Can Spam, grated
• 1 Can Water Chestnuts, minced
• 1/4 Ea Bunch of Green Onions, minced
• 2 Tbsp Dried Shrimp, finely minced
• 1 Ea Large Egg
• 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
• 1 Pkg Won Ton Wrappers
• Oil for frying

1. Combine all ingredients (except wrappers and oil) in a mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Fill wrappers with 1 tablespoon of filling and moisten edges to seal.
3. Deep fry until golden brown and drain on paper towels.

Recipe Story/Helpful Hints:
When B&F was still in the State Capitol, Branch 1 of BPPM contributed this dish to the annual Christmas party. Based on the personalities of the members of Branch 1, we were affectionately referred to as the “F Troop.” By the time lunch was served, most folks were too full from eating this, because you can’t just have one.
