Easy Sugar Cookies

An Alumnus

• 1 cup margarine
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 eggs, beaten
• 2 Tbsp cream
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/4 tsp lemon extract
• 1/3 tsp salt
• 4-1/2 cups flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• Chocolate chips and nuts, optional

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and cream; beat well. Mix in other ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls on baking sheet. Flatten with fork and bake in moderate oven.
