Easy Bean Dip

Louise ‘Redoble Craig, Vancouver, Washington

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 sm. bottle salsa (or equivalent amount of fresh salsa)
  • 1 tsp. chili powder (more or less depending on your taste)
  • 1 tsp. onion powder (more or less depending on your taste)
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder (depending on your taste)
  • Grated colby or Jack cheese

Mix ingredients. Place in a casserole dish. Cover with cheese. Microwave on medium heat until cooked clear through (time depends on your microwave). You may also bake this in a coventional oven at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Garnish with sour cream, diced tomatoes and green onion. You can chop and sauté real onion and garlic in place of onion and garlic powders.
