Dutch Baby
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 6 Eggs
- 1 cup Flour, all-purpose
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
Preheat oven to 400°. Place butter in a 9 inch round ovenproof dish and melt in the preheating oven. Swirl butter around to coat bottom and sides of the baking dish. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add flour, sugar, salt and milk. Mix well. Pour into baking dish (with the melted butter) and bake in 400° oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and cook until puffy and slightly browned (30 to 40 minutes).
Serve with fresh lemon wedges, powdered sugar, honey or fresh fruit.
