Dashi (Clear Soup Stock) #2

  • 4 cups water
  • ¼ cup dried shrimps
  • 1 tbsp. shoyu
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. monosodium glutamate

Put shrimps in water and bring to boil. Turn down heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain liquid. Add shoyu, salt and monosodium glutamate.
