Chocolate Pudding I

Mrs. Fusae Nakakura – Haina

  • 1 qt milk
  • 1/3 c cornstarch
  • 1/3 c chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • Few grains salt

Scald milk, keeping a little to dissolve cornstarch and chocolate. Mix slightly beaten eggs with sugar, add salt, cornstarch and chocolate mixture. Pour heated milk slowly over mixture and cook in double boiler until thick. Add flavoring and pour into molds.
