Apple Pie #2

Mrs. Frank Tanimura – Ohea

  • 6 to 8 apples (sliced) or No. 2½ can apple
  • ¾ c granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 T tapioca
  • 1 T butter

Prepare pie crust. Fill with mixture of all ingredients and dot with butter. Moisten edges with water and cover with top crust. Prick crust top. Brush top of pie with milk or egg white. Bake at 425° F. about 40 to 45 min.
