Apple Chocolate Cake

  • 1 box German Chocolate, Swiss or regular Chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can Apple Pie filling
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • Beat eggs and cake mix together.
  • Fold in apple pie filling until well blended.
  • Pour batter in a well-greased and floured 9×13″ pan.

Topping:

  • 1/2 c. walnuts
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 6-oz. pkg. chocolate chips
  • Mix topping ingredients together. Sprinkle on top of cake.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
